Some Amsterdammers with residence permits can follow free Dutch courses. The courses we provide are a combination of learning the Dutch language and learning other basic skills. There are themes such as health, money matters and parenting.

Not everyone can apply. Only EU citizens that are residents of Amsterdam or non-EU citizens that are residents and have successfully completed the civic integration course can apply for this free Dutch course.

If you apply the free Dutch course, you have to attend 2 lessons(3 hours + 3 hours) each week. You have to make homework, too. These are Obligations during the free Dutch course. You have to comply with them. And if you complete the course, you will receive a certificate.
